Bless this lady-naut!

A female PhD biomechanical engineer, 29 year old Yi Soyeon, became South Korea's first and youngest space adventurer when she beat 35,000 other applicants and left the planet during April of this year. This remarkable feat is worthy of a congratulation cuddle in itself, but what really makes me wanna bring her out with the girls is her fierce and funny attitude…

When speaking at an important space conference type gathering she responded to a request to summarize herself in three words with a cheeky “crazy, sexy, cool!” She also told of her nerve-jangling re-entry to Earth when they were forced to go into ‘ballistic-landing’ (meaning landing on a steep course and 8 or 9 times the gravitational force felt here in old blightly) resulting in touching down 260 miles south of their proposed spot. Upon arrival locals greeted them as extraterrestrial tourists, creeping up to give them a quick nudge. Cavalier Yi promptly dealt with the case of mistaken identity with a direct: “I am not an alien!” What a joker!
