Sape

I'm writing for uni about these beautiful pictures by Francesco Giusti and the little known social phenomenon of Sape, and thought I'd share them with you. It started in 1920's when travellers from Paris returned to the Congo in fresh new garms, and the tradition didn't stop even during the war. Now they achieve a level of celebrity status in community not dissimlar to our reality stars, each having their own individual poses and donning the fabulous attire strictly on weekends, which sometimes they've saved for years to buy. Loving their attitude! Smile inducing stuff...
